A blepharoplasty before and after gallery shows how surgical eyelid correction reshapes tired or aging eyes. This procedure removes excess skin and repositions fat around the upper and lower lids. Patients often seek eyelid surgery when drooping skin hides the natural eye shape. Lower lid bags that make the face look tired are another common reason. Some cases also pair surgery with CO2 laser resurfacing of the lower lids.
Dr. Rokhsar completed fellowship training in laser surgery, which informs his approach to eyelid rejuvenation. Patients weighing non-surgical options can review our non-surgical eyelift before and after photos. Others can read our surgical eyelid lift page to understand the procedure. The result below is an actual patient outcome from our New York City and Long Island practices.
Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty with Lower Lid CO2 Resurfacing (Patient 1)

This 50-year-old woman underwent an upper and lower surgical blepharoplasty with lower lid CO2 laser resurfacing to improve lower lid fat pads, upper lid drooping and improvement in wrinkles and skin tightening. The after image shows tighter upper lids with less hooding over the lash line. The lower lid contour now looks smoother and the earlier under-eye puffiness has settled. Skin around both eyes now appears more even, rested, and free of heavy creasing. This eyelid surgery result balances definitive correction with a natural, refreshed finish for an aging eye.
