How is Fraxel Re:pair different from other Fraxel treatments?

Fraxel Re:pair uses the same fractional technology as a Fraxel Dual laser, however Fraxel Re:pair uses a CO2 laser which vaporizes microscopic columns of tissue deep within the skin, making it a more aggressive procedure. The Dual laser is used to treat older skin cells while also leaving the skin’s protective barrier intact, which doesn’t require downtime.

What is Fraxel Re:pair used for?

The Fraxel Re:pair system is used to treat more severe signs of skin damage, but is not recommended for those with older skin because of its fragility. Results can be achieved in one to two treatments and collagen production is stimulated for the next six to eight months afterwards.
